Would you like to help run the Taddington Bramwell Memorial Institute and have a hand in influencing how things are done? This year’s Annual General Meeting (at which a new committee will be formed for the forthcoming year) is being held on 16th March at 7:30pm.
Around half of the committee members (who are also trustees of the charity) are from different organisations in the village – but there are also eleven places for people from the village which includes Taddington, Priestcliffe, Blackwell and Brushfield.
The committee meets at the Bramwell Institute around 8 times a year – usually on Monday evenings, starting at 7.30pm. We are trying to develop and imrpove the Institute, make it better for our local community and have exciting plans for more village events this year so we need plenty of people on the committee to make things happen.
Feel free to come along to the AGM or contact any member of the current committee for more information. As the Institute is a registered charity, you need to be 18 or over to be a trustee and on the committee.
If you are interested feel free to contact Trevor Ride (current Chairman) 85124 or [email protected] or Deb Clifford (current Secretary) 85101 or [email protected]
