We are delighted to let you know that, on Saturday 2nd March in the Institute, newly formed local singing group Peak Voices will be performing One Song More, a selection of songs from popular West End musicals such as Blood Brothers, Chicago, West Side Story and Les Miserables.
The group, made up of professional singers and musicians Chris Blackshaw, Andrew Edwards, Gemma Flitter, Liz McKenzie and their accompanist Wendy Byrne, recently got together to share their love of singing with a wider audience in small villages. They are all ex members of Bakewell Youth Theatre who got together for a concert back in June and have now developed into the company ‘Peak Voices’.
