We are pleased to announce the welcome return of ‘The Devil’s Violin’, a popular rural touring performance trio consisting of a charismatic storyteller, an excellent cellist and a superb violinist. They tell traditional tales for a modern audience accompanied by hypnotic music. They will be at the Institute in Taddington on Thursday 28th March at 19:30 with their new show ‘Stolen’.

‘The Devil’s Violin’ have an uncanny knack of taking traditional tales and putting their own spin on them, so that they feel fresh for a modern audience. ‘Stolen’ tells the tale of a young woman who goes missing and the search for her which uncovers dark secrets. Described as spinetingling, heart stopping and darkly funny, this promises to be a fantastic night of top-notch storytelling with music.
