Taddington Christmas Cafe

It’s the Christmas cafe at the Institute this coming Saturday (11th of December). We will be there from 10:30 – 2:00 (not 12:00 as stated on the general list that has gone round). Hot drinks and cakes will be served throughout but we will not be offering lunches this time round. There will be plenty of stalls for you to browse and opportunities to buy gifts:
  • Body Shop gift sets
  • Usborne children’s books
  • Martin’s handcrafted books
  • Greetings cards (in aid of the Refuge)
  • Goat milk soaps
  • Artisan chocolates
  • Fresh fruit, veg, pies, Christmas trees etc from the Farm Shop
  • Jams and chutneys
It is still not too late to use the contact details and lists that have been previously circulated if you want to pre-order.
Unfortunately we have not seen the back of the pandemic and we are therefore obliged to follow current government mandates and the advice of Public Health experts. This means that you will be required to wear a face covering (unless eating/drinking at a table) and to maintain a respectful distance from those you do not share a household with. Hand sanitisers will be available, as will spare face coverings in case you forget yours. And of course please stay away (much as we hate to say it!), if you are experiencing any cold/flu-like or other symptoms.
Let’s work together as a community to keep things going but to stop the spread and have a Covid free Christmas in Taddington.
